Most equine facilities require riders and owners to carry basic liability insurance.
You don't have to be a member of a provincial organization any more if you don't want to.
Intercity offers a basic insurance coverage for $30. Provincial association is much higher.
Foundation Reining Training Centre requires insurance for all of it's riders and owners and I'm recommending it to all my clients.
