Lecture on Bits

Markdale Greenhawk Horse Night,
Markdale Arena

Please join me Thursday, Oct. 28th for a great evening of fun & learning. Thanks to Ann Watson owner of Markdale Greenhawk for this 2nd opportunity to speak at one of her events.

I will be giving a talk on bits - What, Where, Why, When and How. I will discuss some history, different types, their uses, materials used, when to use a snaffle, when to use a curb and when to use some of the speciality equipment that's available today.

I will also talk about some of the latest technology by Myler Bits and others!

I've updated my presentation and have more research and experience to share since the last time I gave the presentation 3 years ago.

If you have any questions or would like to see something specific, please let me know.
Please check back for more information as details come to me.

"a bit is only as good as the hands that use them." ~a good bit of advice
"There is probably a lot of things to consider about bridle bits. Probably the most important thing is what's on the other end of it, pulling on it." ~Greg Darnall, bit master
"The mouthpiece if for the horse. The shank is for the people." ~ Dale Myler of Myler Bits.

Putting my spin on bits!
